The Close Up Screen by Gary Hume for Giobagnara Art Edition brings together imagery developed from Close-up (Green), Close-up (Pink) and Close-up (Lilac), all painted in 1999. Broad coloured forms are realised in nappa and suede, set flush into aluminium so that leather and metal share one finely resolved surface.

Its low, folding format allows the composition to extend across a room while preserving a sense of openness above. Angled panels give depth to the arrangement and alter the relationships between its shapes. Placed behind a sofa or within an open interior, it establishes an expressive visual boundary. Made in Italy in a numbered and signed edition of 12.
