x Gary Hume Night Watch Box: Aluminium & Leather Marquetry With Brushed Brass

Developed from Gary Hume’s Night Watch (2013), this box for Giobagnara Art Edition gives the painting’s coloured forms a tactile interpretation in nappa marquetry. Leather is set flush into aluminium across the lid, allowing the image to retain its graphic clarity within a precise metal frame.

A purple leather lining extends the colour into the interior, while brushed brass details add a subtle change of material. Its generous proportions accommodate letters, jewellery or keepsakes. On a desk or dressing table, the box invites an everyday encounter with Hume’s work through the simple gesture of opening and closing it. Made in Italy in a numbered and signed edition of 12.
