The American Tan XXIII Vase by Gary Hume for Giobagnara Art Edition brings a deeper palette to the series. Brown and plum suede meet sage and teal, with slender aluminium boundaries defining the forms. Developed from Hume’s painting of 2006–07, the imagery extends around a tall cylinder, revealing a different arrangement from each position.

Suede is inlaid flush into the metal, creating a precise surface whose richness becomes apparent at close range. Glass inside accommodates floral arrangements. Displayed alone or alongside the other American Tan vases, it offers a substantial painterly presence. Made in Italy in a numbered and signed edition of 12.
