Designed by Martino Gamper for Giobagnara, the Margo Stool brings the intricacy of a small architectural composition to an intimate piece of furniture. Sculpted Canaletto walnut legs frame two levels of leather marquetry, while lacquered inlays trace slender accents of colour down the timber. An octagonal leather cushion crowns the seat, its softened outline echoing the geometry beneath.

Much of its character lies in these encounters: the visible grain of walnut beside finely textured leather, and the cushion’s gentle volume above the open frame. The lower shelf adds another layer to the composition while offering a place for a book or magazine. At the foot of a bed or beside a favourite chair, Margo introduces an expressive detail that rewards a closer look.
